"An Extensive Look At Two Leading Pop Culture Magazines" is a term paper written for my Political Economy of Mass Media course in the fall of 2014. It looks at two leading entertainment magazines and goes through background, a literary review, strategies for determining results, and a results section. This paper focuses on whether or not the media is as interactive and autonomy driven for the reader over their various medium platforms.
Term Paper
"A Comprehensive Analysis of Ellen DeGeneres' Commencement Address At Tulane University to the Katrina Class" analyzes and critiques Ellen DeGeneres' speech given at Tulane University in 2009 to the "Katrina Class." This paper fouces on a a few different sections: review of literature, background on DeGeneres, Katrina, and Tulane, context, and finally critique or analysis section. Throughout this paper, different techniques are used, innovative ideas are discussed, and insights are added to help further analyze this speech.
Kony Social Movement
The Kony 2012 social movement spoke to some of the devastating nature of the reality happening overseas. This is a project portfolio of all aspects of the movement, including pictures, timelines, biographies, demographics of those involved, lirerature used, strategies employed, as well as famous advertisments and my own critique of the movement.

Long Essay
"The Relationship Between Spectatorship and The Film" focuses on the realtionship between the spectator and the particular film. It explores different movies from the question of spectatorship while exampining different rhetorican's ideas as to how we watch these films. Addtionally, it looks at whether we have a stronger relationship with the film itself, or if it is the job of the characters to cause us to relate to the film.
